The United States Presidential  election is the 58th quadrennial

Voters selected presidential electors, who will vote and it is based on the results of their authority for a new president and Vice president  through the electoral . The term limit established in the twenty second amendment to the United States constitution prevents the  president. Barack Obama of the democratic party being elected to a third term.The 2016 election will decide the 45th president and 48th Vice president of the unites states. The series of presidential primary elections took place between February and 2 June 2016, spread out among the 50 states, the district of Columbia and U.S. territories. This nominating process was also a roundabout election, where voters have direct ballots for a line up of delegates to a political party nominating convention, who in turn elect their parties presidential nominee.

Nominees for the 2016 presidential election:

Business man and reality television personality Donald Trump became the Republican Party presidential nominee on 19 July 2016, after defeating U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and other Candidates in the Republican primary elections. If he elected, Trump will be the oldest president to take office. Former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator from NewYork Hillary Clinton become the  Democratic Party presidential nominee on 26 July 2016, after defeating U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, if chosen ,Clinton will be the first female president.

The Third party and independent presidential candidate  also ran in the election.Libertarian Party nominee and former Governor  of New Mexico Gary Johnson had a ballot access in all 50 states, Washington ,D.C. Representing all 538 electoral votes.Green Party nominee and former physician Jill Stein had ballot access in 44 states Washington D.C.,representing 480 electoral votes.

Johnson and Stein( ran in the parties presidential nominees in  the 2012 election) appeared in major national  polls.In any case, 24 other third party candidates and  appeared on the ballot in at least some states. Independent candidate, former chief policy Director for the House Republican Conference Evan McMullin led in at least one opinion poll in his home state of Utah.

The Republicans won the United States  :  Donald Trump won the presidency. Donald Trump is edging ahead of Hillary Clinton by 1 point nationwide This is the first time Trump has been ahead since May.He wins a key battleground state in Ohio.
