Add one banana, one apple, and two dates in half a glass of cold milk and blend. Adding dates will give you the required iron and will also make the smoothie sweet. So, you don’t need to add the sugar. Add a little water to reduce the thickness. This can be a great drink for your child going for an evening tuition.

Oatmeal Smoothie

Cook oats as you do usually in the milk. Now, based on your preference and requirement you can make an Oatmeal Smoothie by either adding dates, banana, flax seeds, chia seeds, or peanut butter. It tastes amazing and acts as a full breakfast with the goodness of fruits and cereals.

Strawberry-Orange Smoothie

Strawberry and orange can be blended together and if you wish you can add an apple as well. This will give you the complete taste. These fruits can be blended well in a little milk but make sure to consume the smoothie immediately after its preparation. If left for long, the milk can get curdled.

Banana-Strawberry Smoothie

Banana and strawberry can be blended in a little yoghurt and you can have it after two slices of bread in the breakfast. It will give you enough iron, potassium and vitamin C your body needs.

Nutty Smoothie is apt for kids as well as adults who don’t get time to eat the nuts. Add some pistachio, dates, flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, in a glass of mind and blend. If you want to make it richer, add one banana as well. The taste would be just yummy.
